The Shinto Shrine is located in in the heart of Tokyo, Japan. Within a City which is always on the move one will find a small and intimate place for a calm moment. The centered main building is resting on a solid basis as an interpretation of a rock. The entire Object is sitting like an island within a sea of sand. A pathway around the building is guiding the visitor through the garden and offering all its richness of plants.
